It was a dream come true when my friend, Rost, decided to travel with me by bus from Kota Kinabalu (KK) to Mabul Island end of this month. The best part is, she let me stay at her brother's house in Sandakan on the first day and continue our journey to Semporna on the next day.
I have applied my leave yesterday. I am sure Boss will approve my application because this trip will give me an opportunity to come out with a special write up.

Oh ya, I have posted my plan to Turtle Island (Sandakan), but I can skip that one since I got a better package to Mabul. Rost's friend is doing business with one of operators in the island. And yes, my package is SUPER DUPER CHEAP. Its only RM199.90 per pax for 2N3D. The cheapest package in history! As I know, the cheapest package for Mabul Island is about RM259 but mine was a very special case. Hehehe. Sooo excited!
Bye-bye, Turtle Island. Will see u next time. Maybe next year.

1. Diving or Snorkeling
2. Island hopping
3. Fishing
4. Makan seafood :D
5. Taking pictures of Palahu (Sea gypsy) kids rowing themselves in their self-made boat with slippers as their paddles.
6. HAVING FUN!
- Any other suggestions? Please share what to do, what to wear, what to bring and how much money should I bring to maximize my activities? Please dong...

Hello from PerutBesi! I stayed at the Sipadan Water Village, so everything is included in my package...basically, Mabul/Sipadan is a place for relaxing & snorkelling/diving. You MUST do those...food isn't a big thing on those islands. My blog post basically has every info that I've done during my trip there, so just go & enjoy! :D

Diving is a must-do while you are there :) Like PerutBesi said, food isn't a big thing there.. susah mau cari makanan sedap hehe ...
i dont mind about the food. but i'll do the diving. and how much it cost to rent an underwater camera?

Krimly, i just came back from the island last night. If u are a diver, this place is one of the best place to discover. Turtles are everywhere, fish are colorful... i cant describe.
