The free seats are available for booking at www.airasia.com to all Malaysians who have a valid MyKad, on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, for a full 24 hours beginning 0001hrs (GMT+8).
These free seats will be for the immediate travel period from January 14 to February 4, 2013. Fares and fuel surcharge are waived and only airport tax are applicable for these free seats offered.
The free seats are only valid for flights departing from Peninsular Malaysia to Sabah and Sarawak (Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Labuan, Sandakan, Miri, Tawau. Sibu, Bintulu) or from east Malaysia to Peninsular (Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru).
Domestic flights within the peninsula or within East Malaysia are not applicable. Baggage a location, in-flight meals, seat selection and other value-added services are not included in the free seats as well.
Too bad, I can't apply for any leaves until the election is over because I will be leaving for my Boracay honeymoon end of this month. After Boracay, leaves were frozen! I have one more ticket to Tarakan but I don't know whether I can go before April or just burn it.
Btw, January 14 to February 4 is such a short period kan? I don't think it's fair because we don't have enough time to plan. So, are you going anywhere?
